I've read the wiki description of this one, but can't remember the title. It's based on a book.

I did a Google search for "rape" "clone" "violent" and found this page on Goodreads where someone is asking about a book that sounds like the movie that you're asking about and that I vaguely remember reading about, but then someone answers their question with a book that I think is definitely not it: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1610640-novel-about-doctor-whose-daughter-was-murdered-involves-cloning-and

The description doesn't sound that much like my memories; I don't remember the good twin being in a relationship at the start. On the other hand, I don't remember how the film started.

What I do remember is that the female lead was a grad student who wanted to prove her theory that there's a gene for crime; she wanted to find an Evil/Good twin pair's DNA and find the mutation that made one different. She was disappointed when the good twin turned out to have started off just as violent as the evil one (and the (spoiler) others), and having become good due to nurture rather than nature.

I also remember the good twin infiltrating the evil one's house, and being found out by the evil twin's sex slave because he's staying away from her instead of raping her where she stands. Naturally, she decides to aid the hero.

Also, I can find no mention of the book ever being adapted to film, so it's probably not this book.
