I agree about their third comment, but unless I’m asleep at the wheel over here, the first two comments seemed like they were in favor of liberal views? I don’t have a good answer for why they responded to years-old posts with conservative leanings, though.

^ All three of their posts read like MRA bullshit to me.

There's nothing wrong with them pointing out that certain tropes and stereotypes do indeed negatively impact men, that one post they were responding to feels kinda charged and biased in the opposite direction. We should avoid raising the MRA flag simply because someone argues that men are affected by these things, not just women.

...Their other two posts though, yeah, they're a big yikes and any valid points they might maybe be trying to make are just inevitably lost in the noise.

I'm also wondering why there are now thumbs up on year-old posts in those discussion pages.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

^^ Right, individual points might be acceptable on their own, but at best they're a dogwhistle. Taken collectively, there's no way an agenda isn't being furthered here.

Anyway. Locking as resolved.
