The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at the Trope Launch Pad.
Deadly Doctor is "someone who fights or kills with a medical motif." Further down it says, "Deadly Doctor refers specifically to doctors who apply their medical knowledge to their combat techniques." This is not the same as Combat Medic which is a doctor who also happens to be a good fighter, but who uses actual martial techniques instead of medical techniques.
Meatgrinder Surgery describes "flagrantly careless surgery that still manages to get positive results (mostly)." It describes a surgeon who uses inappropriate tools and techniques for surgery but is almost always played for laughs. The non-comedy version is likely Playing with Syringes.

This is a trope where I noticed, where a surgical operation is plotted out using a weapon, including a buzzsaw or a chainsaw weapon. Oftentimes if performed in real life there is a 0% chance of succeeding if it was real.
Oftentimes, the target victims panic and flee during such scenes. What is the name of this trope and are there any other examples?
