The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at the Trope Launch Pad.
That is almost it, but the character doesn't feel like they are cursed. It is more like, Cursed And Loving It, or something along those lines. They have a transformation that most would be horrified to have, but instead they love. So, almost like an inversion of Cursed With Awesome.
Edited by LordCirceThat's what the Cursed with Awesome trope is, when a "curse" is awesome (hence the name). The inversion of that trope is Blessed with Suck, which is where a good thing is actually bad.
No, it is close, but not exactly what I mean. Cursed with Awesome is where we think the "curse" is awesome, while the person who got it just feels like they are cursed. I am looking for the opposite, where the person who is cursed thinks it is great, while we would be a bit horrified by it.
Sounds somewhat related to Who Wants to Live Forever?. Might just be a case of Fridge Horror or maybe Body Horror.

A character undergoes some sort of transformation, for example, they are turned into a vampire. However, rather than give into shock or horror, they fully accept and are even excited for their new transformation. Note: This wasn't just limited to vampires, that was just part of it.
