For instance, in Inside Llewyn Davis, La La Land, Dreamgirls, Mulholland Drive, Look Back, and the various versions of A Star is Born, the plot is primarily or substantially about fictional characters attempting to go from nobody to superstar, with varying degrees of success.

Do we have a trope for plotlines about a character trying to make it big as an actor/musician/other visual artist? Obviously a staple of the Biopic but there are plenty of examples about fictional nobodies with the same story beats.
