If Bob is a morally darker mercenary, Pragmatic Villainy could apply. (Pragmatic Hero unfortunately seems to go the opposite direction and doesn't apply.) I could also see Only in It for the Money being applied, since he's thinking ahead for reasons of personal gain and thus, directly or indirectly, future earnings.
Might be some intersect with Consummate Professional and Not in My Contract in the sense that Bob follows his orders to the letter and doesn't try to embellish for more violence.

Bob is a mercenary who is noted to never seek revenge on whoever defeated him. He explains that being a mercenary, someone he attacks today in revenge might be someone he has to work with/for tomorrow, and so there's little gain in burning bridges before he crosses them. Similarly, he tries to go for victory by surrender rather than annihilation for the same reason (he might end up working with the mercs hired by the other side, or he has friends among them who have a similar outlook on business, etc.).
