Maybe?
With some tropes, listing aversions just isn't a good idea, even if they don't allow straight examples for omnipresency. It's an issue that One-Steve Limit has at least, when I've seen examples and potholes in work pages that not only were aversions, but even listed some incorrect information as well. Maybe it doesn't happen with every trope, though.
Oo oo ah ah^ heck, One-Steve Limit went to TRS because of all the aversions. Aversions arent "straight examples" because they aren't examples at all. You aren't playing with the trope, you're just not using it.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallJust so we're clear: What we're saying is that for "Averted Examples Only" tropes, where the aversion from something deemed omni-present is the notable aspect, we should not be listing those on the work's page?
So, let me ask this: Why have those tropes? They won't be crosswicked. What is the value in them, then?
No straight examples =/= "aversions only". It means things like subverted, inverted, zigzagged, etc. examples; aversions only count as being played with by technicality, they aren't examples at all. Like you can add them I guess, but they're still questionable. It has nothing to do with crosswicking.

This is something I've seen before dating back years, but I just witnessed a new example and wanted to bring it here to see if we can get some kind of guidance/set precedent.
On the Fallout 3 page, @kyeo added an example
of NPC Random Encounter Immunity being Averted. It's perhaps not the best written, but to me, it's valid as NPCREI notes "As this trope is omni-present in RPGs, please limit examples to aversions, or at least examples of the trope being played with."
A short time later, @AM_NK came along and deleted it
, citing that "it's not an example".
For most tropes, a straight Aversion is not worth listing on the work page as described on the Averted Trope page. But for an "Aversions/Played-With Examples Only" trope like NPCREI, that should be a valid inclusion, no?
Note, I'm not trying to call out anyone involved here as being in the wrong, just trying to establish the right way to handle these instances headed forward. TIA!
