Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I'd support reverting the edits as well — I didn't notice anything particularly ROCEJ-violating in the original version of the description, and given the many existing tropes about stereotypes and politics, I don't see a reason why this trope can't be on the site either.
And yeah, I agree that this definitely looks like editing with an agenda, especially given the edit reasons and now-removed addition to the page.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow. They also tend to natter and use bad intention, but that's not as serious
I'd give links but I'm on mobile and at work; just trust me tho, they're not hard to find
Edited by WarJay77 Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI sent them a couple of Indentation notifiers.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Anyway, it looks like ~𝕋𝕒𝕓𝕤 already reverted the change and maybe suspended them as well?
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallIt seems they sent me a response just now — it appears they think I was in charge of the trope and the response is also quite politically charged.
^ Evidently not, as I received the aforementioned response about 4 minutes before I posted here about it and there was no notice of a suspension.
Edited by Eggy0You should probably direct them to this
thread where their edit claim is addressed.
^^ Well, that doesn't mean they're entire suspended from all things. It would just be an editing suspension. I also don't think you get notified if someone you're notifying is suspended...?
^ No, let's please not direct the angry political wonk to a space where they can flame out. Even Tabs said to not.
Edited by WarJay77 Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallShould still keep this open due to the PM issues, though.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall^^ Yep, I looked in the edit banned thread after seeing the Annalynn ATT
and I saw Puma's post and my immediate thought was "oh no".
Sorry. I was just trying to second WarJay's remark about Puma's behavior possibly being problematic. I'm choosing my words very carefully right now because… well, because political drama is bad. I have strong political opinions, too — strong enough that I don't think Puma and I could ever be friends — and that's all I'm gonna say because I don't want to be part of the problem. In fact, I feel like I should recuse myself from this or something… and yes, I know recusal is a thing judges do when they can't trust themselves to be impartial due to conflict of interest, I don't care! This is not the time or place for me to vent.
Edited by Bomber-BoiPuma has apparently been permanently banned
due to their edits and how they responded, so I'll go ahead and close this ATT query since it probably won't be needed anymore.

Puma has made offending edits, namely these two on the newly launched Conservative Dad, Liberal Mom:
I was alerted to this by this Trope Talk thread
where deerhornsaresopretty, the trope's sponsor, asked if their writing was biased. According to WarJay77 who posted in the same thread, this user has made other biased edits.
