From the perspective of the being in question, it could be Dumbass Has a Point. Could also see it as a downplayed instance of Talking the Monster to Death, since the being doesn't stop but does at least change the plan.

I've got a a scenario where a mortal character angrily tells a cosmic being what it did wrong and the being in question concedes the point. It feels like a moment that should qualify as a trope example, but I can't figure out if any existing tropes apply.
I hesitate to say it's Talking the Monster to Death since the cosmic being doesn't stop its antagonistic plans, it just reevaluates how to more ethically enact them because of what the mortal character said.
(This is for a personal Sandbox page, which is why I'm not naming the work or characters.)
