Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

As with any work page, it may be best to start a Sandbox first to see if an adequate trope count is possible.

There are a couple of recent Minecraft series I am considering troping, but unlike most of the SMP roleplay series we have already troped on the site, they're not roleplay-centric at all and are more building-centric.
For example, there's Guess the Build
, which is basically a game of telephone for build prompts in Minecraft.
I see a lot of potential in troping the builds themselves and how they evolve, while reactions to the builds would straddle the roleplay/creator line like how most SMP roleplay series usually do. (Among other examples, one video's prompt theme is "cursed fairy tales", which is pretty trope-heavy to me.)
On the other hand, because they're much lighter on the roleplay than your average SMP series, I'm not sure where the line would be drawn between real-person troping (not allowed on the site) and series troping (which is allowed).
Similarly, Build and Seek
simply combines building prompts and Hide and Seek. It's easy to trope the builds (there are several cases of Shout-Out and a couple of even have their own internal storylines), but troping the strategies and reactions would, again, straddle the roleplay/creator line. But again, my main issue is where the line between real-person troping and series troping would fall.
And now I can't quite decide, especially since I know Guess the Build can provide an example for a proposed trope on the TLP.
I do know for a fact that Dream's page isn't just for Manhunts but also lists miscellaneous collaborations, e.g. some Death Swap videos, so perhaps I should use that page as a guideline? Would that be a good idea?
