More like you're tipped off that something different is about to happen because something relating to a game mechanic (fast travel point, loading screen) is suddenly different. It's a spoiler, but not interface based.

Not quite, because here there is only one path. It's that something along that path has changed, clueing you in that something different is going to happen when you take it.

I think it's the case of "you're thinking too much into it"

When something specific in the game changes, then the dev is definitely trying to do something out of it, but what you're asking is about your reaction to it

The former is a trope, but I doubt the latter is
