Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
It may not be obvious if taken literally, but the policy is about character appearances and mental age. Someone who is Born as an Adult cannot be seen as a real child.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThe rule is basically just outlawing CP. Characters who are intended to be seen as adults don't violate the rule.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall

In No Lewdness, No Prudishness it is written in point 9 that anything that is younger than sixteen is off-limits, and I couldn't help but think that this seems quite.. limited.
Take someone like Dragon Ball Z's Cell. He's clearly written as a fully grown, mature (and incredibly evil) adult insectoid-leaning humanoid, but if you were to count his age, you would wind up with the fact that's he's merely 6 years old by the time the heroes encounter him.
Likewise, take Captain Rex from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Going by official sources, he's 14 by the time of the Clone Wars beginning, and 17 by the time of them ending - yet he is clearly treated as a fully grown adult.
Salarians of Mass Effect are a short-lived species who max out their lifespans at 40 years of age, and as such they mature rapidly too.
Finally, (and the reason I write this question) I have written a book in which clones are matured, mentally and physically, into fully grown adults over the course of a few years using future tech.
Are those things okay for the wiki? Or not?
