I've always seen this fall under Everything Trying to Kill You. Vacuum cleaners trying to kill you. Dishes trying to kill you. Joggers trying to kill you. And even the lightest contact is instant death.

Malevolent Architecture also, when the area itself seems designed to be as difficult to traverse as possible.

In video game adaptations of regular works, there often aren't enough actual villains in the piece to provide as enemies, so instead you'll wind up with a variety of mundane objects and random background NPCs who serve as "enemies" who may not even chase the player, but will nonetheless damage them if they make contact. So, say, in a game based off of
The Great Gatsby, you'll be shooting waiters and miscellaneous party guests. In other games, the levels might have rampaging vacuum cleaners, flyish dishes, or oblivious joggers. Do we have a trope for the situation?
