Don't know enough about the example source to say for sure, but depending on the details, it could have elements of 20 Minutes into the Future (a future that is basically just like today, but with better technology) and Zeerust (the present being yesterday's vision of "tomorrow") as well.

No Umbrellas Allowed takes place in 2080, but other than the technologically advanced buildings and transport and the oppressive government planning to erase everyone's emotions with artificial rain, Ajik City's society is mostly the same as in the present.

Sounds like 20 Minutes into the Future then. Today, items made in 1940' are considered to have archaeological value (if you find them in, say, a WWII battlefield), so don't worry. (You haven't seen a historian's eyes glitter at the sight of my great-grandfather's perfectly preserved long johns XD although the documents in his ancient case of luggage were even more interesting.)
