Bump. I also spoke with FoominBlue, the troper who created this page, and they said they had no idea what had happened to the fic and don't know where else it can be found.

Honestly, I don't see the point of moving a page that isn't otherwise causing trouble to Darth Wiki. It may come back or be found later.

^ That's not how it works. If you can't find the fic then yeah you have to move it.

^^ they're moved to the DarthWiki.Unpublished Works index, since the fic is no longer publicly accessible.

I suppose we should have a proper discussion about the "move deleted fic to Unpublished Works" thing, because I'm almost sure the original purpose of Unpublished Works was as a containment zone for people troping their own unpublished works without mentioning the somewhat important fact of their being unpublished, and cases like this are rather far from that.

Could someone link the policy that forces once-accessible-but-since-taken-down media onto the Darth Wiki? I don't think Keep Circulating the Tapes would have over 5,000 wicks from non-Darth-wiki pages if something like this existed.

^ Is it actually site policy? Because I sent Fanfic.A Frozen Flower to the Cut List after I found the original author had removed it from FanWorks.Odd Squad and made sure it was deleted and could not be recovered. I didn't even consider DarthWiki.Unpublished Works, but I too always thought it was for your own works.

There's something much different about online works than other works though, and that's that they're much easier to erase completely. Other works may not be technically accessible anymore, but there's still enough memory and footage to make them not completely lost media. But a deleted and obscure fanfic?

As for the stuff Slvyi brought up, well, that's worth a discussion but thus far we've always been told it's the correct thing to do.

I can't recall any policy off the top of my head, but we've often moved them because we wanted to preserve the contents. And they can be moved back if a copy is found. They can't be found now ≠ they never existed.
