Let's say there's occurrences of the same trope both in the original series and in a movie. Should the latter's example be a sub-bullet of the former on the trope page? Or should the movie's examples go in the appropriate Film folder?

Yes, you should make a separate entry in the Film — Animated folder for the films. I would do it as follows:

There's a difference between same trope and same example.

If say, the series had a Neon City that's also featured in the movies, I'd count that as an example for the series and don't include that as an example for the movies because they are derivatives and inherit elements of a parent work.

If the series and each movie had different Neon City, I'd consider them as separate examples.

In either case, I'm against grouping examples from multiple works, though it's technically allowed.

Alright, I've mended those by separating the movie examples from the show examples, thank you for the feedback.
