Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I'd say having a voice in the trailer doesn't mean anything compared to an official announcement.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup^x4 - You should view Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work and Speculative Troping since they contain the rules you should follow when troping upcoming works.
While I agree about how the rest says 'No', I just have to mention that it's not about the voice. It's about the particular signature move that is never used by anyone else.
For example, in a trailer of a Street Fighter game:
- If what was heard was "HADOKEN", then I'd still doubt who the character is because there are multiple people who uses Hadoken (Ryu, Ken, Sakura)
- But, if what was heard was "SPINNING BIRD KICK", then I would've be sure who the character is (Chun-li, because she's the only one who has that)
That's about it, really. I'd still adhere with the general consensus of 'No, don't add things yet.'
Still feels like it falls under speculation. Even if you are personally very sure, there's no urgent need to add them in the wiki until the cast is explicitly confirmed.
Thanks for playing Kings Quest V!

Hello. I'd like to ask about this case in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
According to edits by IkeaHan
, the only presence of voice clips means that we shouldn't just confirm the characters yet. However, as someone who has played the series overall, I have known the series enough to know that certain voice clips accurately belong to only a certain character so it's close enough to be confirm. I would like to re-add them, but afraid that it'll trigger a Flame War. I've talked to IkeaHan himself and he said I should bring it here in ATT.
What do you guys think? Should the voice clips be used as a confirmation of the character being in the roster as long as one can identify to whom they belong to in 100% capacity?
Thanks!
