Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
To spoiler something, you need to place the text in the spoiler tags. For example, if you type [[spoiler:Oopsie! You saw a spoiler!]], you'll get Oopsie! You saw a spoiler!.
Speaking of spoilers, Handling Spoilers says that the name of a character in a folder or header should not be hidden as a spoiler.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYMore specifically, the name of a character shouldn't be hidden in the folder title or in the header of the folder (basically, there shouldn't be spoiler tags above the trope example section of a character folder).
If the folder is titled "Spoiler Character" or has an "Unmarked Spoilers" tag on it, then that implies that there should be no spoiler tags in the folder at all.
