Bumping. Forgot to mention that during the discussion on the Condemned By History thread, I did holler Scifimaster, who basically said the same things he already covered. Scifimaster also made
YMMV.Fat Head which has a Don't Shoot the Message entry with the same edit reason as when they removed the film's mention.
Would a note like this work?
"It should be noted that Fat Head has been accused of Manipulative Editing and hypocrisy."
^This might be just me, but I'm not a fan of the phrase "it should be noted that," as it feels both clunky and nattery. Additionally, "has been" makes it sound like it was written when the claims were fresh.
Maybe it would be better to add a clickable note after the mention of Fat Head stating something along the lines of "Though it too would become a subject of criticism with time, facing accusations of Manipulative Editing and hypocrisy." Be kind.
How is "Though it has since faced accusations of Manipulative Editing and hypocrisy" instead?
How’s this. “However Fat Head itself has also faced accusations of Manipulative Editing and hypocrisy.”
Once Upon A Time.

There's been a dispute regarding the entry for Super Size Me on Condemned by History.
On June 28, Scifimaster92 made a comment
to the thread disputing the entry, claiming that it shouldn't count as it was a stunt, and claiming that the rebuttal film Fat Head should not be cited as credible because it is supposedly biased. The thread agreed to keep the entry because the film's reception going from positive to negative, but nothing else was said.
A week later, Scifimaster edited
the entry to remove mentions of Fat Head with the same reasoning as he had in the thread. I brought this up a while after
, where Scifimaster argued that Super Size Me's flaws were done because of inexperience whereas Fat Heads flaws were out of malice. The thread agreed to keep the Fat Head mention, so I readded the part and removed a part about the second movie getting better reception as there was one line already covering it. Scifimaster readded the justifying part
, though Trevor807 removed it
as it was already taken out.
I don't think me or anyone else here has edit warred regarding this, though I am curious if there's an ROCEJ or Single-Issue Wonk concern here, as someone did ask if Scifimaster was downplaying criticisms of Super Size Me.
