Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Then nope. I don't think he's that much of a Walking Spoiler, unless you can provide context on why is actions are incredibly spoileriffic.
Eh, good enough. The folder is white enough and I think the list has enough of Self-Fulfilling Spoiler to spill out his role, motives and powers despite the context being hidden, so I'd be for marking the folder.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup^ Said it better than I could, though of course, I have bias since I started the thread.
Plus some of the unspoiled text seem to warrant spoiler-covering, such as his extreme racism towards Beastman being mentioned but only his reason being spoiler-marked.
Normally that isn't a bad thing and it's common throughout this website in general, though it doesn't take much for a reader to find out exactly what that reason is based on the other tropes being listed. But fixing it would create more white space.
I understand the wiki can't spoiler-proof everything (we can't hide trope names due to wiki policy, which I agree with), though Sylvasta feels like one of those characters where you can't really go that far with his descriptions without relating it back to the big twist.

BNA being BNA: Brand New Animal
I wanted to turn Alan Sylvasta's folder on that page into unmarked spoilers because almost every trope entry in it contains a large amount of blacked-out spoiler text.
I did, though a fellow editor gave me the heads-up that kind of decision requires discussion first so I reverted it the page, though I now gotta ask:
Given Sylvasta's role in the story as an antagonist, should the folder have spoilers marked or unmarked? Also: am I in trouble for jumping the gun on this one?
