Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
1. "We have other pages" doesn't mean Game Grumps and OneyPlays don't have the same issues with Real Life Troping. It's just we haven't really got someone to clean them up.
2. We indeed don't trope real people. We can trope the creative content they're making while producing web videos, but not them as humans. Pages get cut because they don't count as shows that use creative effort, not because they feature non-characters.
3. Fan reception is irrelevant here, only if what the channel is doing counts as a narrative.
That being said I don't have a copy of The Common Man Show page, so I can't validate if the cut was warranted or not, I don't see it being discussed beforehand where it should have been either.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup

I would like to recreate the page for the YouTube channel, the Common Man Show. Which is a reaction channel featuring villagers from India. It was taken down because of "troping real people", but that doesn't make sense considering that this is a web series and, by principle, little different from series featuring real people like Game Grumps, Oney Plays or anything else that features non-characters. It's not a point-and-laugh show, either - fans have a genuine love for the people it features and they are presented in a way that is non-exploitative.
