Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. Check the Wayback Machine website.

Already done. It doesn't have anything else than some YKTTW and two or three other pages.

Just to clarify, I've been saving my browser history in JPG on a weekly basis for almost three years now, just because the archive I'm creating (MHTML format) couldn't keep up with my browsing speed. That's how devoted to the site I am.

Now, the only thing I ask for is someone to send me some articles in any format. I'm not saying, "oh, what the hell, just put the NF back on the site", because I'm sure those who demanded yet another cut from the wiki already got the predictable Flame Bait PMs. The only thing I'm asking is, simply, "somebody help me".

Nope, Google caches just lead me to the current version of the pages right now. Google caches tend to update pretty freaking often.

See this for example: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl=it&gbv=2&rlz=1R2ACAW_it&gs_l=hp.3...15360l27438l0l27688l59l53l6l39l45l0l406l640l2-1j0j1l2l0.&q=cache:73qDSgGIs1EJ:https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/NightmareFuel/KingdomHearts+nightmare+fuel+kingdom+hearts+site%3Atvtropes.org&ct=clnk

Isn't there anyone who has his own archive of the lost articles?

But even then, why even deleting Nightmare Fuel articles? Doesn't "Don't Like? Don't Read!" ring any bells, especially considering those were separate pages people had to access through links?

I still remember that articles like So Yeah, Baby Got Back and the like used to exist on the site. Hoping that "nostalgic tropers will eventually forget, someday" is pretty much useless.

Sorry for the complaining. However, this time, I won't stop asking for archived versions of the articles until I'll get my hands on them. Don't get me wrong, it's just that this one has been too much of a big loss for me, and I just want to have the articles back on my own PC. That's all I'm asking for. Not for NF to be back on the site, just to have my small, offline version of the Tv Tropes I know and love.

If I read the threads on it correctly, everyone wanted to clean it up so we could keep it... and then no one did any cleaning. So it got cut.

I understand ye like it, but it's not like these things are done out of malice.

I'm sorry to say I don't keep archives of articles. Hopefully you can find something.

It's nice to see you share my feelings, or at least understand how I feel.

That said, there is always "another way". I know two ways to allow both Nightmare Fuel and Permanent Red Link Club members to be brought to life once again, but writing about it here would kinda derail the thread.

However, until someone finds an archived version of the lost articles, I'm saying it again: if anyone among you guys has a saved page or whatever, I'm more than willing to give you my e-mail address, so you can send me whatever you have. Please, help me out with this if you can!

Hi there, everyone! :-D I have great news: aside from the post-suspension second chance, I have a new reason for whining less about what we've lost! The Wayback Machine works! (And it deserves an article just for that.) It's just that, plain and simple, I didn't get how to use it the first time around.

However, sadly, the most recent archives of TVT pages I can access date way back to 2010, but I see there's a 2011 section. The new question is, how could I access that?

... Just click the "button" that has "2011" on it — unless said button is completely white and has no black parts inside it, in that case it's unfortunately empty.

I did click on 2011 buttons with black parts in them, only to no avail, sadly.

Anyway, I owe a hug to anyone who suggested this site in the first place. That includes even the Fast man himself.

Sometimes if clicking on a year doesn't work, clicking on the year next to it will take you to that year instead.

If that doesn't work either, there's also the really slow way: start from the end of 2010 and keep moving forward version by version until you get to the most recent one.
