When you find yourself trying to remember a show (or any works) that's on the tip of your tongue but just out of reach, come here - the collective brain of the TVTropes community can probably help. Post all the details you can remember (examples help). If you're looking for a trope, head over to Trope Finder. Have general questions about tropes? Visit Ask The Tropers!
Not even close. If it helps, I do remember in one mini-game, you had to put the parts of a story in order (or something) in order to dunk a clown. The kid who said "I thought you said to put the trap doors by the ants" made a bunch of puns while explaining how to play. After the last pun ("Don't try this at home; this clown is a drained professional!") he said "All right, I'll leave the humor to the clown." It did have digitized speech. I remember seeing the opening cut scene on You Tube ages ago, and nothing else; now even the intro is gone.
I guess I didn't mention that it wasn't a Blaster game. And yes, Davidson did make games other than the Blaster Series.
Edited by thevisualboy37I thought I may as well also mention that I played the game in question in 1999, as part of the Classworks Gold Edutainment Game suite.
And I can finally leave this topic alone. It turns out I was way, way off. It was NOT, in fact, by either Davidson & Associates or Knowledge Adventure. It was by a little-known company called Learningways, and the game in question is "Learning Voyage Grade 3 Reading". Or at least, one of the games in the Learning Voyage series (the clown-dunking game was from Grade 3 Reading, but I could've sworn I played it in Kindergarten).

EDIT: I have found what the game is (see final comment below). An Edutainment Game with some bug-like kids and a flying purple robot. It was made by either Davidson and Associates or Knowledge Adventure (I originally thought it was Davidson, but thinking about it now it may have been KA). It also had a terrible intro ("I told you to put the ant traps by the door!" "Oops, I thought you said to put the trapdoors by the ants!"). It was not a Blaster game or a JumpStart game. EDIT: Okay, I've got a few more things that may help. 1. One of the kids wore round glasses and a green striped T-shirt (with the stripes alternating between light and "regular" green). 2. The other one wore triangular sunglasses with red frames and an orange-yellow T-shirt. She had red hair. 3. Both of the kids had tan skin. 4. The purple robot (or alien, or whatever it was) was... I can't say this without sounding dirty... really long. Tall, not wide. He never said anything and his hands (which I think were floating hands) were white like gloves.
