Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
There is no minimum time. If you think a work should have its own page and it currently doesn't, you can make it youself. This Is a Wiki.
Edited by amathieu13You can even create a page before it's released - although there are some extra rules for that, as covered on Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work.
(There are some tropes we can't list pre-release, and pre-release troping can't be based on interviews)
It's been out for a week
My brother is proof of God's existence, because Satan is clearly real. That still doesn’t mean anything. There are things that get pages before their release date and things that never got pages that have been out for years. It’s all relative.
There is no "expectation" required for a page. Either you create it yourself, or you wait for someone else to do it on their own choice. However, you can't ask for others to do things for you.
Edited by jOSEFdelavilleIf you do opt to make a page, be mindful of the common pitfalls of new page creators:
- Grammar
- Zero-Context Examples
- Failure to Crosswick

How much time must a manga or anime have been published/broadcasted for before it is expected to get its own page?
