I think it's safe, but per Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work, all examples need to state which blog post or trailer they are from, because these all can be subject to change.

I think I raised the cutlist request for that one.

As per the policy page Amonimus linked above, that means:

Video games (whether released on a console or online service) must either have pre-release material and release scheduling or gameplay footage.

...and we can't take interviews and Word of God for that. So if we don't have a release date or images/footage from the game it may be challenging.

The original page was created before some of these rules came in.

There's a fair amount of gameplay footage on the steam page for it already, and more could be gleaned from ed's tiktok (which I'm hoping to not have to do, but...)

Would I have to link to the blog post I'm referencing when I add a trope, or is just saying something like "In blog #x, (example)" sufficient?

Also, yeah it was you. Thanks for the opportunity to do this the right way this time!

I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect a link to the blog in the intro plus "gameplay footage shared in the blog shows that..." style references in examples would be sufficient.

We've got plenty of unreleased work pages that don't link every individual example.

You should reference the gameplay footage or trailer when adding a trope. Referencing the specific post that contains the footage would help with fact checking, and you aren't required to link to it.
