Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
It had that note when the page was made in 2014, I assume nobody added it to the index yet.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSo asked it to be put under In-Universe Examples Only? And or No Real Life Examples Please? Regarding the latter which would be the best fit (Morality Tropes? Narrative, Characterization, and Plot Tropes? Too Common? Too Controversial? Gossip and Stereotypes?)

Found a Disappointed by the Motive pothole used as an audience reaction and complaint under YMMV.Megamind.
I thought Disappointed was In-Universe Examples Only as its page says so and has a [[noreallife]] tag, and had it since the pages creation. But I looked and it's not under the IUEO list or the No Real Life one.
So is it just an oversight it's not under those indexes? Or does the IUEO only apply to the page (every other example of such was made IUEO for all or to disallowed any examples)?
My impression was Fan-Disliked Explanation was what covered audiences finding it disappointing? Regarding the pothole in question the character is supposed to be unsympathetic for the petty motive, and it's not complaining about it been less interesting than other possible motives so both DBTM and FDE seem not applicable here.
