We don't have such function as references, either just link to the episode directly in text or make any appropriate word a link.

If I understand your question correctly:
You can use the link by itself, e.g. Recap/StarTrekS1E0TheCage, which appears as Star Trek S1 E0 "The Cage".
You can Pot Hole it under the episode's name or any other text:
[[Recap/StarTrekS1E0TheCage The Cage]], which appears as The Cage.
