Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

A better place to ask this type of question (whether something is an example of a trope) is on the Is this an example?
thread, which is specifically designed for it.

Debating adding this trope to the Guardian Tales page.
It starts off as a fantasy about a prophesized hero that would wield a sword of light and defeat the darkness. There were some Schizo Tech here and there, but it was primarily a relatively high-fantasy setting.
Up until Season 2 came around and moved the spotlight away from the human world to the Demon World, a technologically-advanced nation in another dimension. The usual normal stuff like castles, forests, and dungeons are now replaced with skyscrapers and neon lights, though it does have some fantastical races living within it like the ritual Demon race.
The game also experiences a general Tone Shift from being mostly comedic and lighthearted to having higher stakes and greater drama as it delves into what The Prophecy actually is, and a relative musical shift from tracks that feel expected from its initial story
to tracks that are more electronic and dramatic style and structure
.
