Because the non-ptitle is a redirect to the ptitle version, so the non-ptitle has little value beyond mouse-over legibility. (I think issue is that the SelfDemonstrating.Ptitleijqobqvle9an page uses markup that isn't supported anymore, so it can't be moved without loosing the self-demonstrating-ness.)

Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.

^Yes. That page uses a markup that would be disabled if edited. Hence, it's permalocked.

If a page is a ptitle, it must be listed as a ptitle on indexes in order for indexing to work. Indexing the redirect would be pointless.
