Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Hilarious in Hindsight has an awful description that doesn't make it at all clear where the line is drawn. It does say "any belated lighthearted coincidence would fit under this trope", which positively invites this kind of actor coincidence example. It's true that the cleanup thread routinely deletes these, but maybe the problems with the description should also be addressed?
Concerns about the (non-)trope are for Trope Talk.
I'd think it's fine to remove the example again as misuse.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup

El Juaco started an Edit War on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny:
1) El Juaco adds an example
of Hilarious in Hindsight.
2) The example is brought up on the Hindsight cleanup thread
, and I judge it to be misuse. costanton11 deletes it
.
3) El Juaco restores the example
without discussion. His edit reason argues that other YMMV articles have similar examples (which is unsurprising, given how much this trope gets misused).
Would it be okay if I removed the example?
