why did Fatter Queens change the entry in the first place? cuatro does mean four. ive never heard of it meaning a four-stringed instrument.
your original version of the entry is the best, and someone should look into Fatter Queens's edit history to see if they have a habit of making counterfactual edits.
The cuatro is a real instrument, but one named for the number...well, guess. [1]
. The old version is correct. Probably could use a clarification "...instead of Cuatro de Mayo ("fourth of May")".
At first shake, I took Bungaman's removal more on the grounds that "it's less Fridge, and more the surface point of the name." But upon giving it more thought, it is Fridge (at least for me) because my brain always autocorrects it to "Cuatro de Mayo" which is what it should be called. My recommendation is adding a new entry:
- Since Lucille's holiday takes place on May 4th, one would think it would be called "Cuatro de Mayo." However, "Cinco de Cuatro" actually means "five of four" which ostensibly is meaningless. This inability to bother to learn the meanings of the words actually makes sense when you take into account how little Lucille cares about other cultures and learning more about them (she calls her Korean son "Annyong" because she thinks it's a name instead of a greeting).

Back in March, I raised a query
about an entry of mine from The X-Files that had been deleted without reason. Now, I've discovered an entry I put on Fridge.Arrested Development has been removed as well. However, this case is a little more complicated.
Back in 2018, I added this entry:
Then Fatter Queens changed it to this last year:
Then in May, Bungaman deleted the entry outright with the edit reason "Cuatro means four in Spanish."
Personally, I think that Bungaman should have corrected the information in the entry instead of deleting it outright since the correct information doesn't disprove the point of the entry. I don't know why Fatter Queens deleted the part about Annyong.
I P Med Bungaman a little over a week ago, but I haven't heard back yet. I'm trying to avoid an edit war here.
