Yesterday, Dylanmc 6 made a change to the trope definition of Vapor Wear that changes it from gender neutral to female only: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Main.VaporWear#edit34724523
.
There was no edit reason so I don't know if this was unilateral or if there's been a consensus-building discussion beforehand. I'm not aware of any such discussion, anyway. I suppose such a change would be a TRS matter, but I can only find some very old discussion in TRS which is about the name of the trope, not whether it's gender exclusive.
It's a bit of a tricky case since the trope is much more commen for female characters, and the trope description is mostly written as if it were gender-exclusive and the few sentences that it's not look like they were added as an afterthought, which makes me wonder whether the trope was actually originally intended as female-only, but it's old enough that its origins go beyond the edit history.
So the question is whether yesterday's edit was a unilateral change of a trope definition, which is not allowed, or just an attempt to make the trope description line up with the (perceived) spirit of the trope, which I guess can be kosher.
