Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
My take is I believe these things should be adressed in the https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/remarks.php?trope=Awesome.HouseOfTheDragon
discussion there first. Having seen it, the initial entry seems valid to me, no need to trim it. The nuances or the details can be integrated into the example without making it natter, of course
Yes, I understand that discussion threads are the best place to have this conversation, but there's an odd bug that makes posting discussion threads impossible for me due to my forum ban. So, I posted it here as an alternative. Should there be a consensus in restoring the entry as the original or as a counter-revision, I could paste the link to this query into the edit reason space.

Hey guys, more rumblings at the House of the Dragon YMMV pages.
Let me get right to it: Here an entry I made in the Awesome moments tab.
“Ser Vaemond Velaryon being the only man at court willing to speak the truth about the bastardy of Laenor's so-called Velaryon heirs to Driftmark, and he does it right to the king's face. He dies for it, but when Viserys unexpectedly showed up to the throne room, he knew the game was up, and if he was going to have his tongue removed or worse, he may as well use his last words to speak truth to a den of liars.”
Snake changed it to:
He postscripted his edits with the following edit reason: “Jeez... The truth doesn't matter. Corlys declared them his grandsons, as did Rhaenys. Laenor publically acknowledged them as his sons. Vaemond is a brave blowhard, Syrax should eat him.”
Now, granted, I could have written the original entry better. There’s edits in there that are to be commended as improvements, and I've rethought some of the verbiage in the original. But the heart of the moment wasn’t in taking a dare, but telling the truth while doing so. If anything, the dare doesn’t matter. What he was willing to say in taking it ‘’does.’’
I want to offer this as a revision and get some thoughts on it:
Further, I kind of take exception to Snake’s edit reason. It comes off as maintaining his own editorial fiat over a YMMV page, where another author’s interpretation of a scene is validated by a textual reading of the drama by the actors and directors themselves.
