The person who you said restored the edits hasn't edited since 2016.

Please link the page and edits in question so that we can see what's going on.

I don't understand the most recent edit. They deleted it and readded it in the same post. Did they move it or something?

Also have no idea why the troper I linked seems to be a different troper since the spelling is the exact same minus a hyphen. It’s this troper.

Well, special characters like that do make a difference in the link. Those are separate accounts. Possibly the same person, but the hyphen matters here.

Regardless I brought it here for reasons other than it being an edit war. I didn’t know what thread to bring those entries to to discuss if they were valid or were misuse.

^For discussions whether it's a valid exampler there's is this an example tread.

As for edit warring, I'm have some doubts. Yomi-Hime wasn't the one who added the entry in the first place: [1], so they weren't readding their own edit. On the other hand they clearly restored the entry as it was, so it's not a case of a troper adding an example while unaware of it having been deleted previously. I'm not sure what are the rules for that.

The rules are that you need to try to get consensus to redelete the entry and/or message the other troper and reach an agreement. Since they aren't edit-warring, they aren't breaking the rules by restoring an entry as it was.
