The basic premise was that you're playtesting a game stuck in Development Hell for 20 years, but the big gimmick was that your only means of attack was to wipe all an enemy's coding and change their parameters to make them into Mons. It started out as a fantasy, but it had sci-fi bits strewn throughout. The fictional game started out as a very successful text adventure, but making the full-3D version was a bridge too far for the three-person dev team, one of wich constantly demanded she be fired due to a non-compete clause in her contract.
