One artist who did a painting like that was the British space artist David A. Hardy. Here is a link to a photo of the painting which he posted to Facebook in 2020.

I remember seeing a painting, featuring a lunar landscape painted in the style of artist Chesley Bonestell
, but with the Apollo 11 craft in the middle. It was titled something like "As it should have been", basically speculating what the Apollo moon landings could've looked like had Bonestell's vision of the Moon's surface been accurate. I've tried in vain to find it since, but have come up empty since I have no idea who the artist was.
