Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I also PMed them about their YMMV deletions back in May, citing the Trans Audience Interpretation entry specifically. They never replied, and apparently are still doing it.
Edited by SpeedchesserI checked, and I feel these entries/lines shouldn't of been deleted, though I feel part of the Older Than They Think entry should have been written differently. Granted, I feel the Unfortunate Implications entry should remain deleted, albeit because it's currently Flame Bait. I also find it noteworthy in the YMMV.South Park Post Covid edit that they removed the text in question without an edit reason.
Additionally, to let you know, the first two Fight Club links don't work properly. EDIT: Nvm, it's now fixed.
Edited by RandomTroper123Honestly if screams to me agenda based editing.
I suspended them. Go ahead and revert anything that needs to be reverted.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
When The Cleaner 69 decided to bump a resolved ATT in order to re-hash the same arguments that got the She-Hulk page locked, I dug into their editing history.
The majority of their edits are to YMMV pages, often deleting opinions in such a way as to promote an agenda:
- Deleting from YMMV Prey calling the example "weak" and "lazy".
- Deleting from YMMV-Stranger Things, specifically a sourced entry calling out the misogyny in the series.
- Deleting a Trans interpretation entry from Elden Ring
- Deleting an X-Men entry about misognyny.
- Deleting part of an entry on South Park that called out comedians using stereotypes.
- For a change adding on to an example in order to bash the 2016 Ghostbusters, accusing critics of "bias and hate".
- Three separate deletions in YMMV Fight Club in order to remove entries critical of alt-right groups.
