Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

It's probably an original quote, but anything that far back we really have no way of knowing who, and it might even have been added before accounts were required to edit.
My musician pageThe Anti-Nihilist's edit history cuts off at 2011, which is where was a server move and the data before that time got lost. It may be impossible to track down the individual editor who came up with that line, unless one of the mod staff happened to be active when the page was made. Shame indeed. I suggest just using "- TV Tropes" per How to Cite TV Tropes in your case.

So I have plans of getting a tattoo of the quote, "Don't cling to pain. Don't expect happiness. Don't fear loss. Accept reality as it is. Enjoy the good. Endure the bad." I was curious about the origin of the quote I've searched online but it seems that this page was the first location I created an account so I could check the history but was unable see who added it. It speaks to my personal philosophy, and has become my favourite quote overall, simple or not it resonated really well with me, If a troper was the original creator then well done I'd still like to credit them.
on an unrelated note, I really should have made an account years ago for the sole purpose of being able to keep dark mode on permanently.
