Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I don't think it counts as an edit war, but it sounds more like serial tweaking to me.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYI suppose someone could stage an edit war with socks, but... IDK why anyone would.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallThis is not an issue, it would just makes other question your thought process.
However, if you add an image, it is set. If you want to change it, it has to be processed in Image Pickin (top quotes and captions have a similar approach, though less people care about them).
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThat's not an edit war at all since you're reverting your own edits instead of someone else's. It could fall into Serial Tweaking territory if it's done several times in a row, but if you only make two consecutive edits (in this case, removing an example you think is invalid, then putting it back after realizing it was removed by mistake), I don't think that counts as serial tweaking (which implies several consecutive edits).
Edited by GastonRabbit You can't just say "perchance".Great, thanks for all your help to my poor struggling brain cell (especially Gaston Rabbit)! I feel better now. :)
I serve at the pleasure of President Pritchart.

This is probably the dumbest question on the planet, and I'm very sorry but I've been up for a very long time and my brain's single working brain cell is struggling to cope.
Can you edit war with yourself?
Like, say you put an example on a page. Then you think the example was wrong so you cut it. Then you realize that the example was actually right all along so you put it back.
That's not going to get you in trouble, is it?
