Seems like he is trying to force his example anyway. And I'm not sure how much it fits. House is a jerk, so his comments were always supposed to be seen as offensive.

I think it's not an edit war since it does attempt to address the original problem, but should still have been discussed. (Does it really fit if they were always meant to characterize him as a jerk? It's not like chauvinism didn't exist prior to #Me Too!.)

Yeah he is a jerk and is meant to be seen as one. Like he's also making similar comments to the African American and Australian working for him. He's not meant to be seen as in the wrong.

Either way I asked them to come here and give their opinions.

It's been a few days with no response. Anymore opinions on if the example fits or not.

It doesn’t really fit Harsher in Hindsight not only because of the above mentioned intentionality but because sexism is not something invented in Me Too. That's like all those examples where any Police Brutality scene is called harsher in light of George Floyd (which wasn't even the first major police brutality scandal in the 2010s much less the first one ever).

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I'm pretty sure Harsher in Hindsight is suppose to be about something specific, not someone's general characterization.

I don't think it fits, plus it seems to be a roundabout way to get around an edit war.

I cut it and linked back to this in the edit reason
