The notice was (possibly unilaterally) added by the now-inactive troper Insignificant back in 2011. Doesn't look like it went through TRS either.
Maybe this is a TRS issue? Foe Yay went in recently for similar problems and got totally cut. That might not be needed here but I don't really know what else could be done.

Artistic License – Law says it should not be used in example lists but instead we should use its subtropes. However, the page itself lists examples, indicating that the supertrope is needed in some way. How to make sense of this?
