Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

Misuse doesn't require being moved (With what you say, it even sounds more like Speculative Troping than misuse). Though consider adding examples for Red Eyes, Take Warning, Animated Tattoo and Science Wizard if applicable.

The Sea Beast just came out on Friday and I'm having trouble figuring out this example written by another troper:
It's hinted at that she is magical to some extent since her eyes flash red before Captain Crow's sea serpent tattoo moves to form a coil shape around his neck, though the effect doesn't last, but regardless, I wouldn't call her mundane.
I want to cut it but not sure what trope I could possibly use to replace it since it does bring up a point that she's clearly not a traditional witch, or at least not in her visuals (there are still themes of Deal with the Devil and mixing poisons/potions from her cauldron).
Should I just cut it without a replacement trope? Or just leave it be?
