Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I have no clue what OP is referring to. If you mean Audience Reactions, there's no strict regulations, but it's best to look up as many discussions as possible, closer to where the work is officially published the better.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupCrappy Games Wiki was sent to the Permanent Red Link Club due to complaining and drama importation. Per the linked page:
- Wiki.Crappy Games Wiki: Was filled to the brim with complaining and drama importing. It got cut, but was later unilaterally recreated.
I doubt we could trope the others for similar reasons.
EDIT: Misinterpreted your comments.
If you mean using them as a source, I would not recommend it, both for the above reasons and because they aren't at all reliable.
Edited by themayorofsimpleton Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallIt's not Mirahize but since it's a similar vibe, we're also no longer using the Bad Webcomics Wiki as a source on Horrible.Webcomics due to issues with creator-bashing.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. As a final side note, those wikis aren't worth using as a reference because they don't always write stuff on their own. Crappy Games Wiki plagiarized one of our game articles.
Worth noting is that Miraheze is just a wiki host. There are perfectly decent wikis on their platform for various works, the Crappy Games/Shows/whatevers wikis just got notorious for being hotbeds of people getting together just to complain about things.
I'd say that a game or show's wiki on Miraheze would be an okay source for information about that work just like a wiki hosted on Fandom or whatever (as long as you can verify its information independently), but we shouldn't take fan reactions from the ones that are just designed to be pools of negativity.

I've been looking at Miraheze wikis for a while and been wondering:

https://besttvshows.miraheze.org/wiki/Best_Shows_%26_Episodes_Wiki
Are Miraheze wikis good sites to build your examples off of? I looked on Deviant Art yesterday and quite a few posts are condemning them. I myself am beginning to doubt their reliability.
