Right, Hartman Hips isn't just about having wide hips and a thin waist. It's about these proportions being used to represent older women.

You did good, pal. That trope only applies to mature women, and in very, very obvious cases to men.

Asking for someone else sounds a bit fishy, but thats all.

Ok, I get your reasoning, but there is one thing I wish to point out. There are a couple of male examples of this trope listed on the page, and Braylovsky themselves said that it could apply to men if they were ‘very obvious cases.’ So if there can be both male and female examples, why not a genderless example? I’m not trying to start an edit war or anything like that, I was just curious since Mewtwo definitely meets all of the physical requirements (wide hips, narrow waist and chest).

P.S. This is off-topic, but I just wanted to let Zuxtron know that in spite of them describing the trope as being used to represent ‘older’ women, quite a few of the listed entries refer to teenagers.

"There are a couple of male examples". These should be removed then.

Hartman Hips's definition limits to "animated woman" specifically, either Hartman Hips has to go through Trope Repair Shop or non-female examples have to go elsewhere. What "Braylovsky said" is irrelevant.

And yes, the definition doesn't have "older women" as a requirement.

The description does say the trope is used to make a woman look more mature.

^^ Then I assume that male examples like this must be removed.

I get there is a bit of work to do.

Even if male examples were allowed, that wouldn't be one. I'm pulling it now.
