While I don't think we should ignore the weird relationship between Voldemort and Bellatrix entirely, One True Love definitely gives it more weight than the actual books do.

Yeah. To my knowledge One True Love is supposed to be given a certain amount of wait. Way more than Voldemort and Bellatrix's dynamic is given.

I feel like what Rowling says is irrelevant because it has to be obvious in the work, does it not? Either way, I never really got the feeling that Lestrange was like that. I'd cut it.
