I can't speak for all of your examples, but first thing to look at is the 4th bullet point in I Am the Band.
This would for example squarely describe Jorn
, a self-named group founded by Jorn Lande. Lande is only a vocalist and has several regular musicians and many guest musicians, but he obviously has unilateral creative control as he at least co-wrote every single song in the group's albums that's not a cover.
This would actually be a direct inversion of I Am the Band, where instead of "person making music under a group's name" it's "group making music under a single person's name". Bon Iver used to be the former, but now it's the latter. The rest of my examples don't apply to the points listed in I Am the Band since most of those bands aren't named after a member who "steals the spotlight" (Lukas Graham may be a partial exception, since Lukas Forchhammer is usually among the top results when you search them, leading many to believe he is the "Lukas Graham"); a notorious example of this would be The Marshall Tucker Band, where none of the many members are (or were) named Marshall or Tucker. It's more of a case of the band name being instantly recognizable (and idealized as a lone artist) while the individual members are all borderline anonymous.

A band comprised of several musicians bears the name of an individual and sometimes passes as (or is mistaken for) a solo artist. Examples: Bon Iver, Lukas Graham, Veruca Salt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jethro Tull (all bands/groups).
