Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Unprivating this, sorry — there's a lot in here that other tropers might be willing to weigh in on. Folks reported in ATT are suspended from queries, too, to avoid them from commenting on the query that got them suspended.
They re-added the "Dabi revealing himself as Toya Todoroki. Something that was long guessed by many fans." line to Signature Scene, so issuing a suspension for that edit war.
Alright that’s fine.
Couple of more Edit Wars I've seen by Mere:
- Endeavor announcing himself to the world as the new Number 1 Hero while secretly vowing to become a better person, and saying to the skeptical crowd, "Just watch me". Not entirely for the best reasons though. Not the entry itself but the Overshadowed by Controversy pothole. It was removed by another user last September and Mere added it back two days later. The rest of this entry was removed in the aforementioned Signature Scene nuke.
- All Might is this both in and out of universe.
- Mirio Togata, who defeated all of Class 1-A and beat the crap out of Overhaul, the latter of which happened AFTER he lost his quirk. Both of these (what I assume are) Memetic Badass entries were deleted last July for being ZC Es. Mere readded them the next day, with only a slightly different entry for Togata.

Hello. I hope it's not an issue for me to have this privated. This is the first time I'm giving a general report about a troper as opposed to one single Edit War, so I would feel more comfortable with this post being private if that's okay.Joe Mere is a troper who does a lot of editing on the YMMV.My Hero Academia page. They just recently readded
a Signature Scene entry that was cut along with many other entries under that trope (most of which Mere himself added). That is one thing, but in general Mere does have a troublesome edit history on that page and other MHA pages. I've seen instances of them adding back or deleting entire entries with no edit reason. In fact, as far as I've seen, they've never put anything in the edit reason section.
Instances include deleting Hawks
and Kirishima's
Ensemble Dark Horse entries (contributing to what could also be considered an Edit War on that page), readding Endeavor and All Might as
Designated Heroes despite them being cut by the DH/DV thread, and adding back Midoriya
as a Base-Breaking Character despite him having been shot down repeatedly.
While looking through their edits on that page I've also seen them add entries with Playing With terms, like Subverted or Deconstructed, despite YMMV tropes not being able to be played with. I counted four times where they added an entry like this which was soon after deleted with this explained in the edit reason (which unfortunately I can't add the links to as clicking the edit dates past the last 15 edits causes the page to crash on my computer). And in general many of their entries tend to be low-context or use Weasel Words.
