A friend of mine wants to know this, and this does seem familiar to me, so I thought I would ask. He told me that he was small when he saw this, so he is probably mixing up movies, he saw many horror movies growing up. To the best of his knowledge, he recalled this scene, a tricycle rode itself in a dark hallway towards a room of four to five adults who are standing around a child scaring the group. The child is in the middle lying on a bed, cannot recall if the child was a boy or girl, and my friend cannot recall what exactly the adults were doing, if they were tormenting the child, if they were merely talking to the child, if it was an exorcism scene, etc., but my best bet is the latter.
I recommended the tricycle scene from a Nightmare on Elm Street 3, which he considered the closet, but the child is a teenager and as she lies in bed no one surrounds her. My guess would be one of the Amityville Horror movies at the most. Someone suggested the X Files episode the Calusari, but it does not have a tricycle (or bicycle) during the ritual scene. I would go with the Amityville Horror series, because characters (including adults and children) do become possessed, as well as inanimate objects, but I have not watched any of the movies just read synopses.
Anyway, does this seem familiar to anyone else here? Please help, thank you.
