Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Hmm, I wonder if it's the same troper this query was asking about
...
It's against the rules, we don't have a notifier for it though, so you'll just have to send a custom one.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallThere was a question about it earlier today
. Don't know what notifier would suit though.

Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupOh, what a coincidence lol, I didn't see that query.
Anyway, I'll send them a custom notifier and cite How to Write an Example in the said notifer.
Edited by Cutegirl920fire CG for shortYup, we are talking about the same troper. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. They didn't answer my message, and reintroduced some things I edited out (nothing too big, just a ZCE and putting back spoiler tags).
We might need more people to chime in and give them a tap on the shoulder.
On a side note: the chances of us noticing the exact same thing (though on different pages) and posting about it are incredibly low. So, I have to ask: are you my soul mate? (I'm out, I'm already far, far away).

So, while checking out one of my followed pages, I noticed an editor adding unnecessary bolded and full-capped words on a page. I have a gut feeling that this is probably against Wiki policy and thus I want to send a notifier to them. However, I can't recall the policy atm but I need to know if this isn't actually allowed and I can link the page where the policy in question is mentioned in the notifier so the editor can read it to get a better understanding of why that isn't allowed.
So, what's the policy for unnecessary bolded and all capped words and if they're not allowed, what category would the notifier fall in?
