So sorry! I should have looked at the history before adding the entries. Also didn't realize RFTSH needs a waiting period like with The Scrappy trope.

I think it would be appropriate to keep the Rescued from the Scrappy Heap entry off the page, but leave a comment about how it was previously decided to leave them off. Like this:

%% Rescued From The Scrappy Heap has been agreed to be left off until XYZ. See discussion here: [link]

%% Please don't add an entry for it without prior consensus.

From what I understood. RFTSH can apply to a character who isn't a full scrappy, but more of a base breaking character, who some dislike in the scrappy-sense but can be redeemed one way or another, like how Garfield-detractors appreciated him more after this film. Anyway, i'm fine with the entris being removed if it's too early or just not a good example.

But both Base-Breaking Character and The Scrappy have 6-month waiting periods.

^^ They can. But that was never the thing. It's that it been decided several times that its to early. Either way removed with a link to here.

I am wondering if we should lock the YMMV page considering how many ATT threads it has been apart of.

This is par for the course for hugely popular movies, especially MCU movies. It will die off once the next new shiny movie gets released. I don't think we need to go straight to pagelock just yet.

Its usually not this bad though.

Lock requests go here, but you would need a compelling case.

I remember that WandaVision's YMMV page was an absolute nightmare the entire time it was running and we did genuinely consider a lock, but I forget whether or not it went through. Either way, this is nowhere near as bad as that was - just cut the entry and put in a note.

According to the history of the Locked Pages page we never did lock it.

The only time I remember a page getting locked for stuff like this was when Avengers: Endgame had a flood of pre-release speculation and spoilage. No Way Home hasn't reached anywhere near that level.

Let's just cut the rotten examples and move on.
